Humanoid hammer head character. This is first of oceanic creature based humanoids I'm doing for a personal project. The character was sculpted in Zbrush and developed using Blender and Substance Painter. I started learning how to retarget custom rigs to motion capture animations like mixamo. There were manual tweaks that went into the animation but majority of the body mechanics was from a mixamo walk animation. The most manual work that was put into this was the facial animations. I recorded my own dialog(tweaked the pitch) and imported that to blender to manually animate the mouth referencing the audio. Learning more and more about rigging in Blender without using scripts.
