The foliage were added to the scene using an add-on for Blender. Here I was able to quickly populate the scene with grass, weeds, trees, etc.

The the rocks are instances of an one rock I quickly made in Blender. I added these rocks because the textures alone was not holding up for an extremely closeup shot.

Playing with the depth of field was fun for this project. It felt like a nice affect to add as it allows focus for the eyes and in a ways directs you on where you should focus on as the camera shifts.

These closeup shots of the wooden block for the B shows carvings describing my life so far. The change from living on an small island to moving to a big country US. :) Just a summary and highlights so far.

The vegetation on the shallow water floated with the water and shifts position more so up and down as waves transition. This was done by just placing the waves modifier above the particles modifier allowing the wave to affect the greenery as well.

This is the texture setup approach I like to follow, but of course you can setup the outputs to your preferences in Substance Painter.

The Logo was modeled and prepped for texturing in Blender. For the texturing it was done in Substance Painter. I wanted to create something that is surrounded by Nature for this logo scene. So I went with a wood material.

This is a view of the materials setup. I like to work in this method as it is clean to work with and efficient for me.

The textures for this were grabbed from textures.com. I took the greyscale maps and combined them into one texture with R=AO, G=Roughness, and B=Metallic(empty). This is the workflow I like to setup but of course we can make the channels any order.

The water was kept simple. Initially I though about simulating water in Blender with Flip Fluid add-on but it wasn't efficient enough and was abit distracting from the focus. Which is was logo. So I used a plane, wave mod with a Blender txtr animated.

To make the wooden logo blocks float, I parented them to a plane which is shrink wrapped to the surface of the deforming water plane. This gave me the floating feel.

I created this quick little rock that was instance as particles meshes over a plane shrink wrapped on the ground. This was for the extreme closeup intro shot.

Still renderings of my 3d logo animation. The K is shown with red paint on the wood material. This represents my bad side. Some of us are lucky we have things/people in our life that keeps us together. But there are those who unfortunately don't have that kind of support. So remember to be compassionate and understanding. This mindset leads to my qualities I cherish over everything else.
The B is my most important qualities to me. It is shown with carvings summarizing my journey so far. The highlights of my life up to now. Representing my better side, determination, compassion, understanding, and strength. The name Barnabas comes from the Bible meaning "Son of Encouragement". Hard name to live up to but I try to be encouraging here and there.
